The San Antonio Spurs saw their recent dominance of the Golden State Warriors at home come to an end Wednesday night.
Victor Wembanyama had 31 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. Together, he and Stephon Castle became the first Spurs teammates to notch triple-doubles in the same game. Castle went for 23 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
But that was not enough to counter Steph Curry. In his second game back after missing three in a row because of an illness, Curry scored 46 points, including 22 in the -shifting third quarter. He is now one 40-point game shy of tying Michael Jordan for the most 40-pieces after the age of 30.
The two teams play again Friday night on Newsradio 1200 WOAI.
