Luke Combs said he “may never do a cover again,” he wrote in his caption as he shared the bloopers from his recent rendition of “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims.

Combs revealed “what doing a ‘quick cover video’ looks like” in a new clip he shared on TikTok on Sunday (June 8). The 38-second compilation shows each time Combs began playing the viral single and ultimately stopped so he could start over. He wrote in his caption: “I may never do a cover again but if I did what would y’all want to hear?”

Some TikTokers laughed (including commenters writing, “The aggressive strumming of the missed chord - so relatable 😂,” and “The little tantrum at the end 😂💀”). Others commented with requests for other cover songs, including “Too Sweet” or “Take Me to Church” by Hozier, “River” by Leon Bridges, a full cover of “Lose Control,” and more.

Combs shared his cover of “Lose Control” on his social media accounts last week. Swims applauded the performance in a comment on Instagram, along with a few other artists (including Kane BrownMitchell Tenpenny and Dan + Shay’s Dan Smyers) and other commenters.
