Brian Kelley shared a heartfelt anniversary tribute to his wife, Brittney Kelley, as the couple celebrated a decade of marriage over the weekend. The Florida-born country star said it’s been “10 years and just gettin started,” as he posted a photo of the husband-and-wife duo on Instagram.
Kelley also wrote, along with a few wedding day snapshots, that the “best thing I ever did was marry you!! I love you and our life so much!!! Can’t believe it’s been 10 years, feels like yesterday and also forever ago! Every single day with you has been the best of my life! Let the celebrations begin.”
Brittany shared a tribute of her own, posting a throwback photo from the couple’s wedding day in 2013. She wrote in her caption: “Happy TEN YEARS to my man! To ones who doubted and to ones who tried to talk us out of it [middle finger emoji] and to the ones who believed in us [heart hands emoji] ! Here’s to TEN MORE [Brian Kelley].”
The couple quickly drew congratulatory messages from Brittany Aldean, RaeLynn, Naomi Cooke Johnson and others. Kelley married his wife in an intimate ceremony at their home in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 16, 2013. He told PEOPLE at that time: “If you know us, you know that we really just dance to our own beat. We thought, ‘Let’s do it our way.’ …I knew I couldn’t live without her. It sounds like a terrible cheesy movie, but when you know, you know! With her, I just really wanted nothing more than to be married.”
