The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is offering an incentive for jail inmates to get vaccinated against COVID-19. The jail is giving $100 commissary goody bags to inmates who agree to get the shot. Sheriff Javier Salazar says the program is not funded by taxpayers, and could lead to relaxed COVID protocols at the jail. According to the Sheriff, about 1,200 inmates have signed up to get vaccinated.
