The San Antonio Housing Authority has announced it is extending its eviction moratorium until next March. The move impacts more than 10,000 residents. S-A-H-A President Ed Hinojosa Jr. says the pandemic has disproportionately impacted economically-disadvantaged families. In making the announcement, the housing authority says it has asked Bexar County and the city of San Antonio to designate money from the American Rescue Plan Act to cover about $3 million in debt owed by more than 2,700 local families.
