Freeman Coliseum To Stop Housing Teen Illegal Immigrants By End Of Month

The migrant shelter at the Freeman Coliseum is scheduled to stop housing unaccompanied teen boys by the end of the month. The federal government's contract to lease the facility from Bexar County ends on May 30th. Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff says there are now nearly 16-hundred teens housed at the shelter. He says 30 have been sent to licensed care facilities, 487 have been matched with sponsors, and 77 have aged out of the program. Three teens who escaped from the shelter haven't been found.
