Mystery Solved: Why are these dogs turning Smurf blue?

A pack of homeless dogs showed up in a Russian town near Moscow recently and they kinda looked like Smurfs. They were blue!

But now the mystery of the blue dogs has been solved. According to FoxNews:

"The canines were spotted near the abandoned Dzerzhinskoye Orgsteklo chemical plant that once manufactured highly toxic hydrocyanic acid, which is also a core ingredient in a once commonly used "Prussian blue" dye. Experts believe this detail may help explain why some pups are now blue through-and-through — including their excrement, according to vets."

The blue pups also showed up once upon a time in India also.
