Nirenberg: Vaccine May Reach San Antonio In 4 To 6 Weeks

Mayor Ron Nirenberg says the coronavirus vaccine may reach San Antonio within four to six weeks. When the vaccine is made available, it will first go to health care providers, front-line workers, and the most vulnerable populations, such as people in nursing homes. Local health professionals say the vaccine won't be available to the general public on a widespread basis until sometime next year.
