A San Antonio native is involved in NASA's latest mission to Mars. Phillip Hargrove is a trajectory analyst who helped chart the safest path for the rocket now carrying the rover Perseverance to the red planet. The rover will search for evidence of past life on the alien world. Hargrove graduated from Regan High School in 2009, got a bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering at Stanford, and a master's at the University of Michigan. The Mars mission launched on Thursday and is expected to touch down on Mars in February.
