A civilian employee on the Bexar County Sheriffs Office is facing felony charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Daniella Velia Garcia, 27, was arrested today by San Antonio Police.
Garcia is also charged with assault bodily injury.
Garcia is a security monitor in the video visitation office. She has been with the BCSO since August of 2017. She has been placed on administrative leave.
Several uniformed deputies have been arrested in the last year, mainly for drunk driving and domestic violence.
